Scribehound Food is closing — but we have something for you.

As you are aware, Scribehound Food has been on pause since 1st November 2025. We have been trying to find a way forward for the business to operate effectively and bring a collective together with long-term sustainability.

Unfortunately, we have not been able to find a path forward following the original approach. We are sorry that we are not able to achieve this for you.

Our friends at Vittles have very kindly offered a free year's subscription to their online newsletter, normally £59.

Vittles is an award-winning publication dedicated to all aspects of modern food culture, from long reads and reported features to recipes and restaurant reviews.

Over the past six years it has published work from hundreds of food writers and non-food writers, in the UK and beyond — including regulars from Scribehound Food.

It most recently won Best Publication at the Guild of Food Writer Awards, for its print magazine and online supplements covering issues like food and children, and the influence of cookbooks.
